Youth smoking prevention and cessation programs conducted by the
Fulton County Board of Health will be funded by more local tax
money and less state funds this year.
The board, which has received $10,000 to $20,000 a year in state
funds for such programs since 2003, did not get any money from
the Ohio Tobacco Prevention Foundation this year.
But all three youth smoking programs will continue, said Cindy
Rose, director of nursing for the Fulton County board.
