ASSEMBLY NO-SMOKING SIGNS 'MISSED DEADLINE'
The Welsh Assembly's premises in Cardiff Bay are not immune to
the smoking ban imposed on the rest of Wales.
Workmen finished putting them up at 8.30am today -
two-and-a-half hours after the smoking ban descended at 6am.
A manager or person in control of no-smoking premises can be
fined £200 for failing to display warning notices.
An Assembly spokeswoman said: "There was an hour when they were
not up but the building was not open to the public then anyway."
