New research shows that the level of nicotine in major brands of
American cigarettes has gone up by 11 per cent in the period
1998 to 2005.
The research was conducted by the Harvard School of Public
Health (HSPH) and a report is published on their website. The
program was sponsored by the American Legacy Foundation and
National Cancer Institute.
